This can result in a theme that feels disjointed, where the accent colours do not match the primary mood of the wallpaper. To avoid this, look for images with a clear dominant colour and a limited colour palette.

Steering the Palette for Vivid Results

To achieve a vivid and consistent theme, choose wallpapers with strong, saturated colours. Look for images where one or two hues dominate the composition. A sunset with deep oranges and purples, for example, will typically produce a warm, rich theme. Conversely, a forest scene with varying shades of green will create a calm, earthy palette.

Consider the placement of colours within the image. The algorithm samples the entire image, but certain areas may have more influence depending on the visual weight of the colours. Large, solid blocks of colour tend to have a stronger impact than small, detailed patterns. If you want a specific colour to dominate the interface, ensure it occupies a significant portion of the wallpaper.
