Where PracandyWalls is better
PracandyWalls keeps things quiet: browse, filter by mood and colour, preview at full resolution and set your home screen, lock screen or both. There are no ads anywhere in the app and nothing to subscribe to.
There is no account to create to use it. Google sign-in is available if you want it, favourites stay on your phone, and analytics stays off until you allow it.
Where Walli is better
Walli is built around artists. Its listing says its wallpapers are designed by a global community of artists and that it shares part of its revenue with them, so using it supports the people who made the art. You can follow artists, see their portfolios, comment and join wallpaper contests.
It also has auto wallpaper playlists that change your wallpaper hourly, daily or on a schedule, and it is on the App Store for iPhone.
The trade-off
Walli gives you a community and supports artists directly, with ads and a paid subscription in the mix. PracandyWalls gives you a curated, ad-free collection with no subscription.
