PracandyWalls vs Zedge: Which Wallpaper App to Pick
The PracandyWalls Team
Short answer
PracandyWalls is the better pick if you only want wallpapers on Android and do not want ads: it is free, curated in HD and 4K, and has no ads, for life.
Zedge is the better pick if you also want ringtones, notification sounds, live wallpapers or AI-made wallpapers, or if you need an iPhone app. Its Google Play listing says it contains ads and offers in-app purchases.

Where PracandyWalls is better
PracandyWalls does one job: it lets you browse curated wallpapers, filter them by mood and colour, preview them at full resolution and set your home screen, lock screen or both. There are no banner ads, no video ads and no ads to unlock a wallpaper, and there is no subscription to pay to make them go away.
Favourites stay on your phone, and analytics stays off until you allow it.
Where Zedge is better
Zedge is much broader. Besides wallpapers it has ringtones, alarm and notification sounds and live wallpapers, and its listing describes AI tools for making wallpapers, restyling photos and creating sounds. It can rotate your background at set intervals, offers parallax, 24-hour and dual wallpapers, and syncs across devices with one login.
It is also on the App Store, so it works on an iPhone. PracandyWalls does not.
The trade-off
If you want one app for every sound and picture on your phone, Zedge covers more ground, with ads and paid extras. If you want a quiet wallpaper app with nothing in the way, PracandyWalls is the simpler choice.
